Celtic players Haissem Hassan and Shim Mheuka visited the Celtic Superstore on Tuesday to meet young supporters and promote the 2026/27 Young Hoops Club membership. The pair signed shirts and merchandise for members, posed for photos and chatted with fans during the event.
Shim Mheuka described the experience as amazing, noting the long queue of fans that stretched outside the building. He said it was incredible to see the love the young supporters have for the club.
The visit comes as Celtic sit top of the Premiership table with 24 points from nine games, having recorded eight wins and one defeat. They hold a four-point lead over Rangers ahead of their next fixture, an away match against Hibernian on Sunday 25 October. The team's recent form across all competitions shows two wins and three losses from their last five outings. Top scorer Benjamin Nygren, who has six goals this season, was on the scoresheet in that emphatic win. Overall this season, the team has scored 23 goals and conceded just five.
Membership opportunities
The Young Hoops Club membership for the current season is available for £25. Benefits include a Celtic goodie bag, a membership card, access to competitions, matchday mascot opportunities and a 10 per cent discount on merchandise and stadium tours. Special dining offers at the Number Seven restaurant are also part of the package.
Celtic now turn their focus to the trip to face Hibernian, who are currently 12th in the league. The team will be looking to maintain their strong attacking momentum, having averaged 4.8 goals per game during their recent five-match run. They will aim to return to the winning form demonstrated in their last league match against Motherwell, which they won 2-0.
