Kasper Hogh has spoken about the personal faith helping him handle the intense pressure of playing for Celtic. The 25-year-old Danish international gave an interview to a Danish magazine this week.

Hogh said his spiritual beliefs and a strong support network have been key to his adjustment. "It’s been a huge experience," Hogh said. "Celtic is a huge club. Everything is just bigger. There are more fans and there are more people watching you." He explained that a previous transfer from Denmark to Norway had caused him anxiety, but his current situation feels different. He cited finding peace in his faith and the support of his girlfriend and family as major factors.

On-field impact and scrutiny

His comments come as Celtic, who remain top of the Premiership with 18 points from seven games, have lost their last three matches. That run includes two defeats to Rangers, the most recent a 1-0 loss at Celtic Park on September 20. Hogh's only goals for the club so far came in a spectacular debut, a first-half hat-trick in a 5-1 win at Kilmarnock on August 9.

The club's record signing, who joined from Bodo/Glimt for a reported £11 million in the summer, is now focused on rediscovering that scoring touch. He made his competitive debut in the Europa League against Ferencvarosi on September 17.

Hogh is looking ahead to Celtic's next match, an away trip to face Motherwell on October 11. The striker will be aiming to add to his season's tally and help the team return to winning ways.
