Celtic's transfer claim for Dinko Horkas has been made, but Las Palmas' deal structure is unattractive. The Scottish champions are reportedly interested in the Croatian goalkeeper, who has impressed in Spain's second tier last season. Las Palmas president Miguel Angel Ramirez has claimed that the only current offer on the table is from Celtic, but the club won't let Horkas go because the offer isn't attractive to them. Horkas has two years remaining on his current contract, and Las Palmas are in no rush to cash in on the goalkeeper. The shot-stopper has reportedly told chiefs at the Segunda Division side that he wants to leave, after a move to the Saudi Pro League fell apart earlier this summer. Speaking to Tinta Amarilla, Ramirez claimed that the only current offer on the table is from Celtic, and that the club won't let Horkas go because the offer isn't attractive to them. He said: "Dinko Horkas is a UD Las Palmas player who has asked to leave the club. The club won't let him go because the only offer we have [from Celtic] isn't attractive to the club. He says it will be difficult for him to continue playing for UD Las Palmas since he had an offer from Saudi, that would have been a lifesaver. He has a contract with UD Las Palmas and will stay at the club if the offer he has doesn't meet UD Las Palmas' expectations." Celtic sources have poured cold water on the link with the club prioritizing other positions. As it stands, Viljami Sinisalo will be No. 1 for the campaign with Ross Doohan acting as cover. Former first-choice Kasper Schmeichel retired at the end of last season after a series of injury problems. League standing (final 2025 table -- new season not yet under way): 3rd in Premiership, 67 pts, 21W-4D-8L from 33 games, recent form WWWWW. Goals this season: 59 scored, 35 conceded (+24 goal difference). Title race: 3 points behind leaders Heart Of Midlothian. Last result: Celtic 3-1 Heart Of Midlothian (2026-05-16). Recent form (last 5): 5W-0D-0L (WWWWW, most recent first); on a 5-game winning run. Currently sidelined: Jota.
