Kasper Hogh's Journey to Inner Peace

Celtic's new signing Kasper Hogh has found inner peace, which he believes has contributed to his peak form on the pitch. The Dane has joined Celtic for a club-record £11 million transfer fee.

Hogh, who has scored 54 goals in 104 appearances for Bodo/Glimt, credits his newfound faith in God for his transformation. He believes that finding inner peace has helped him balance his life and football career.

"I changed a lot. I believe in God. That helped me change the person I am and the way to see life," Hogh said.

Hogh's journey to inner peace began when he moved to Bodo, a city of fewer than 60,000 people in Norway. He found the tranquility of the city to be a perfect environment for him to focus on his faith and personal growth.

"I loved the place, the people, and the way they accepted me. It felt like a big family there," Hogh added.

As much as finding God helped Hogh change his habits, there isn't much to do in Bodo. However, he enjoyed the small-town atmosphere and the opportunity to appreciate the simple things in life.

Hogh has a range of body art, including a tattoo of a peacock getting into a gramophone, which he got with his best friend Sune. He believes that his tattoos mean something and are a reflection of his personality.

When Hogh first heard of Celtic's transfer interest, he only had one destination in mind. He is excited to join the Scottish Premiership champions and contribute to their success.

What comes next?

Hogh will make his Celtic debut against Dundee next Monday. He is looking forward to the challenge and is eager to prove himself in the Scottish Premiership.

Why it matters for Celtic

Celtic's signing of Hogh is a significant boost to their squad. The Dane's goal-scoring record and experience in the Norwegian league will be valuable assets to the team.
