Celtic's league trip to Hearts next month has been selected for live television coverage. The match at Tynecastle on Sunday, November 29 will kick off at 3:00pm and be broadcast by Sky Sports.

It is one of eight Scottish Premiership fixtures scheduled for live broadcast in November. The selections were confirmed by the league's broadcast partners this week.

Celtic currently lead the Premiership by two points, sitting first with 18 points from seven games. Their next league fixture is away to Motherwell on October 11. The team's recent form has seen them average 2.57 goals per game, a rate they will aim to maintain in front of the television cameras.

Other high-profile games chosen include two Saturday night matches for Rangers. They travel to St Mirren on November 7 and to Motherwell on November 21, both with 8:00pm kick-offs.

Derek McInnes noted the scheduling, saying, "resurgent Gers will have two Saturday night games to contend with under the lights."

Hearts will also be featured in an away game, visiting Dundee on November 21 for a 5:45pm start. The rearranged fixture between Rangers and Aberdeen will be shown live by Sky on Tuesday, November 24.

Hibernian fans can watch live coverage of their side's trips to Aberdeen on November 7 and to Motherwell on November 28.

The current league standings show Celtic holding a narrow advantage at the summit.

The broadcast announcement comes as Brendan Rodgers's side look to maintain their position after a recent defeat to Rangers. That 1-0 loss at home on September 20 was their third consecutive defeat in all competitions, though they have since returned to winning ways in the league. Celtic's recent run includes a 2-0 victory over St Johnstone where they scored both goals within the first 25 minutes.
